Dare you to move

August 1st: I moved!

I moved in with my boyfriend. Don’t worry- we haven’t killed each other yet. But seriously, this was a huge step for me. I’m sure you nobody actually wants to read this and I’m sory for posting something I feel that way about. However, if you had asked me before I met him if I ever thought this was something I would do the answer would have been a hard no. If you had asked me even just six months into our relationship, I would have changed my tune significantly. I’m not saying it would have been a yes, but I did know early on that he was a good man. I knew that if we were still together at this point, it wouldn’t be a step in the wrong direction. Additionally, I am so happy that I got out of an apartment and I don’t think I could ever share an apartment with anybody again in my life. Thankfully, Iowa City has a low cost of living so that’s not a real concern for me here.

Bonus information you might care about if you’re still reading: scrolling through pictures in my phone I saw that August was the first time I ran five consecutive miles in my life! I am definitely more of a sprinter than an endurance runnner by nature, but I have been trying to change my tune on that. I know I would rather run longer and further than faster and shorter, but sometimes, I just cannot always meet that mark. However, in August I did. I love chasing dreams and goals!
